Putting my Master’s Degree in English to use, I combine years of experience as a freelance writer, and copywriter for advertising and marketing, social media, digital, and packaging to offer an adaptable and diverse skill set to a wide variety of industries.
Having worked as a freelance writer for many years, in 2011 I was offered a full-time position by one of my clients, GLAD WORKS, a full-service creative agency. Working as part of the creative team there began my career as a full-time copywriter.
After five years at GLAD WORKS, I moved on to Collette in 2016 where I specialized in both print and digital writing as a part of their in-house marketing team. For close to three years I was a core member of the copywriting, brand experience and social media teams and acted as main contributor and editor for their blog, Traveling Well.
Having spent so much time as primarily a digital and marketing copywriter, in 2019 I became interested in trying something new. Always fascinated by creative packaging, I pursued working at Marks where the focus is on brand design and experience. There I have had the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment across many different categories and sub brands, each with its own distinct voice and style.
Throughout my career, collaboration and partnership have been the hallmarks of my tenure in every position. I pride myself on my ability to collaborate with multiple points of contact to deliver high quality content that is consistent, on brand and on schedule.
